“I took three years to complete the book. Serene Soraipung is a book on the Dihing Patkai National Park and it is a first-of-its-kind book on the National Park. After three years of intense research and fieldwork I have completed the book,” Imon Abedin told Northeast Now.

“The book is a complete package on Dihing Patkai, who wants to do research on Dihing Patkai National Park, the book will be an immense help for them. The book has both pictorial representations as well as data on the National Park,” Abedin said.

“I decided to write the book to highlight the rich biodiversity of Dihing Patkai National Park to the international stage as there is no such data available on the national park,” said the writer.
