TINSUKIA: Body of one of the three coal mine workers, who were left trapped following collapse of an illegal rat-hole coal mine at Tinsukia district in Assam, has been recovered.
The body of the coal mine worker was recovered after eight days of the tragic incident.

The body of the coal mine worker was recovered following a rescue operation led initiated by the SDRF and NDRF since Saturday (June 01) morning.
Meanwhile, operations are underway to locate the bodies of the remaining missing persons.
It may be mentioned here that three people were left trapped inside an illegal rat-hole mine near Ledo in Tinsukia district of Assam on May 26.

The three trapped coal mine workers were identified as: Dawa Cherpa from Bhojpur in Nepal, and John and Fenaal from Meghalaya.
