When asked about the third political front hinted by the All Assam Students Union as an option against all political parties, Dass said, “India is a democratic country where every individual have right to form a political party and formation of new political front ahead of each and  every election is nothing new,”said Dass.

When asked about any conflicts inside the party leaders over the candidate of chief minister, Dass said that in BJP family, each and every party workers have equal rights and anyone can claim himself for the chief minister’s portfolio and vise versa but as ‘our party is a well disciplined party and accordngly the final decision on any subject matter would be decided only after the threadbare discussion with party’s central and state level meeting’.
