“He even calls me a Mughul. Am I am Mughal?” he questioned.
Ajmal also claimed that no one in the state will be persecuted in the name of religion if the Congress-AIUDF alliance comes to power.
“I am not communal and very well understand who goes to temples, naamghars and mosques to worship,” the AIUDF chief said.
“If our alliance comes to power in the state every person will have the freedom to follow his faith,” he said.
Ajmal also thanked the BJP leaders for comparing him time and again with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
