Guwahati: In a surprising move, the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has cancelled the results of the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024, originally released on Monday, February 16, 2026, citing an unintentional error.
The Principal Controller of Examinations at APSC confirmed that the result notified under letter No. 460PSC/CON/Exam3712024-2025 has been withdrawn with immediate effect. A revised select list will be uploaded after a thorough review.
However, some sources have already revealed that Guwahatiโs Nihar Ranjan Deka had emerged as the state topper, securing first place in the Assam Civil Service (Junior Grade). Deka is an alumnus of the foundation batch at SPM IAS Academy.
Rajnish Sarmah reportedly claimed the second rank, while Panchali Devi stood third in the state rankings.
This yearโs CCE was conducted to fill a total of 288 positions across various Assam government services.
Further updates and detailed information are expected to be shared soon, and candidates are advised to check the official APSC website for the latest announcements.
