Guwahati: Popular YouTuber Bhaskar Dutta who is an employee of the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) was suspected from service on Wednesday.
He was due to allegations of violating service regulations.
The move comes after Dutta was accused of promoting content related to Sapnanil Das, the key figure in a recent online trading fraud case. Additionally, an FIR was filed against Dutta for allegedly issuing death threats to a person identified as Ashraful Haque.
Haque who claims to have duped by Swapnanil Das also alleged that he was threatened by the YouTuber.
Haque claimed that he was “duped” by Swapnanil after he contacted him with details acquired from Dutta’s videos.
The entire case is currently under investigation.
