The Tihu Police arrested another absconding accused in the horrific gang rape of a woman in a moving car at Tihu in Nalbari district of Assam.
The accused has been identified as Rupadhan Ali. He was arrested by Tihu police from Rangia near Puthimari area.

Earlier police arrested three accused involved in connection with the incident and one Merajul Ali is still on the run.
The incident occurred last Wednesday when a married woman was allegedly gangraped by five men in Tihu. The five accused are Nurul Ali, Bakkul Nath, Kishore Mohan Das, Rupdhan Ali and Merajul Haq. Police earlier arrested two accused Nurul and Bakkul in connection with the incident.
After committing the crime the miscreants dumped the victim near the Karkabari forest area. The victim was rescued by locals who reported the incident to the nearby police and then after returning home the victim told her family members about the incident.

Meanwhile the police started the investigation and arrested two accused named Nurul Ali (25) and Bakkul Nath (25) on the same day.
The police also seized their Alto car where the five accused committed the heinous crime.
On Friday night police arrested one Kishor Mohan Das. Rupadhan Ali was arrested by Tihu police at Puthimari area of Rangia on Saturday night.
However the one other accused Merajul Haq, is still absconding.
The incident has sparked a sensation in the region.
