The two-day long All India Bodo Writers’ meet organized by the Sahitya Akademi in collaboration with the Central Library, CIT Kokrajhar concluded on Sunday at the Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Auditorium hall in Kokrajhar.

The programme was formally inaugurated on Saturday by eminent writer Brajendra Kr. Brahma.

Talking to media persons, Anil Kr Boro, convener of Bodo Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, said, “In order to impress the young and new Bodo writers, the Sahitya Akademi takes this kind of initiative, where the young and new writers can meet and display their spirits.”

Over hundred new writers from various parts of the country including West Bengal participated in the programme.

Among others, Anju Basumatary, Member of Bodo Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi; UG Brahma, Sangrang Brahma, Librarian, CIT Kokrajhar, were present in the inaugural event.
