The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will conduct the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations from February 12 to March 14, 2019.
According to reports, in Udalguri district the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations will be held in 19 centres and 6,905 students will appear in the examinations this year.
Out of the 6,905 students 6005 will appear in Arts stream, 644 in Science stream and 256 candidates will appear in Commerce stream, informed Inspector of Schools, Udalguri, Bhaben Deuri.

Moreover, the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) will be held across 17 centres where a total of 8,920 students would appear for the examinations.
Deuri further informed that all the necessary arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the examinations.
As per AHSEC guidelines, CCTV cameras will be installed at the examination centres in a move to discourage the cheaters.
Meanwhile, Udalguri deputy commissioner Dilip Kumar Das through an order promulgated prohibitory order under section CrPC 144 throughout the HSLC and HS examination centres in Udalguri district prohibiting use of loudspeakers in 500 metre radius of the examination centres, entry of unauthorised persons or unnecessary crowding in premises of examination centres among others.
Besides, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has decided to install signal jammers in sensitive examination halls across Assam to prevent students from cheating using electronic devices.
The AHSEC authority has said jammers will be installed to block radio frequency devices in 25 sensitive examination centres.
The decision to use jammers in examination halls has been taken by the council for the first time in the state.
The jammers will block mobile signals, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth operations on electronic devices, said official sources.
