GUWAHATI: The government railway police (GRP) carried out a meticulous inspection of Train No. 12423 Rajdhani Express at the Guwahati railway station in Assam based on confidential information.
During the operation, they apprehended an individual identified as Manohar Kumar Rai, a resident of Bihar, who was found in possession of four packets of Opium, totalling 4 kilograms in weight.

The arrest occurred at Platform No. 1 of Guwahati railway station in Assam, where GRP personnel intercepted Rai.
The confiscated contraband, commonly known as ‘Kani’, was concealed on Rai’s person.
