20 Assam Rifles felicitated Raktim Bhuyan, topper of Assam  High School Leaving Certificate HSLC examination and 7th position holder Paul Bhuyan in Tezpur on Wednesday.

Raktim Bhuyan, a student of Moonlit High School of Sonitpur district, secured aggregate marks 593 out of 600 with the top rank in the recently declared Assam HSLC results.

Raktim Bhuyan was felicitated with a memento, certificate of appreciation, Assam Rifles cap and a cash prize at his residence in Tezpur town. The recognition by the Assam Rifles has encouraged other students and locals to put in their best and deliver outstanding results for overall development of society.

Bharat Bhuyan and  Baby Bhuyan, parents of Raktim Bhuyan applauded the efforts of Assam Rifles in motivating the talented student for his future studies.

20 Assam Rifle also felicitated Paul Bhuyan of Tezpur Government Boys who has brought laurel sto his school as well as to Tezpur town secured a total of 587 marks with a 97.83 percentage.
