Rodali Barua from Tezpur, Assam loses Women’s +67 kg in Taekwondo against Tinghsia Ma of Taipei by 0-5, at Asian games currently underway in Jakarta, Indonesia.
She has won laurels for the country in other Taekwondo Championships in the +73kg heavyweight category.

She shot to fame after bagging a medal at the National games. She also participated in the World Taekwondo Championships in Korea in June 2017 and won a Gold medal at the 35th National Senior Kyorugi and 8th National Senior Pumche Taekwondo Championships held at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
She is the daughter of Anupam Baruah and Runa Baruah, Rodali began her taekwondo training at a tender age and has been actively participating in the game since she was in the 8th standard.
Rodali is a District Gold Champion with a ranking of 1, 17 and 86 in National, Asian and the World respectively. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Arts from IGNOU.
