Arunachal Pradesh agriculture minister Tage Taki called on Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati on Tuesday. 

During the meeting the two leaders discussed several matters that pertains to “mutual interest” of both the states.

It is believed that the issue of border dispute between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh was also taken up for discussion during the short meeting. 

“They discussed matters of mutual interest and increased cooperation between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh,” the Assam chief minister’s office said.

Earlier, Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu had said that the border dispute between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh would be resolved, through dialogue, out of the Court. 

CM Khandu had said that both Assam and Arunachal Pradesh have agreed to resolve the border dispute between the two States out of the Court.
