Amul, India’s largest dairy brand, has congratulated Lovlina Borgohain from Assam in its own unique way.
Amul has published an animated doodle in its social media handle congratulating the pugilist from Assam for winning a bronze medal in the women’s boxing welterweight category at Tokyo Olympics.
The doodle features an animated sketch of Lovlina Borgohain with her bronze medal alongside the Amul girl.
“Borgohain Sabse Behtar! Amul, We Lov It,” read the doodle.

Lovlina Borgohain lost her semi-final bout against Busenaz Surmeneli of Turkey in the welterweight women’s boxing at the Tokyo Olympics on Wednesday.
With this loss, Lovlina had to settle for a bronze medal. Lovlina lost to her Turkish opponent 0-5.
With a bronze medal, Lovlina became only the third Indian boxer after Vijender Singh and Mary Kom to win an Olympic medal.
23-year-old Lovlina Borgohain had already assured India of their first boxing medal at the ongoing Olympic Games when she upstaged former world champion – Nien-Chin Chen of Taiwan, to enter the semis.
