Amrit Deorah, the CEO of Aasray Concept Foods, has taken over as the new chair of Young Indians (Yi) Guwahati Chapter 2022.
He took over the charge recently at the Annual Day programme of the chapter in Guwahati.

In his acceptance speech Amrit Deorah said, “Yi is a great platform for young entrepreneurs like us to share our ideas, knowledge and work together towards building a better environment.”
“I am glad to have got this opportunity to lead this chapter and I hope to be able to make some contribution towards our society through our various initiatives that we undertake at Yi,” he added.
Amrit Deorah is a Guwahati-based entrepreneur in the food processing sector.

An economist by education from Delhi University, he completed his postgraduation in Finance from Warwick Business School in 2008, says a press statement.
He is an avid reader who undertakes many philanthropic activities.
His firm Aasray Concept Foods is into manufacture and distribution of Infant Cereals, Instant Noodles and assorted snacks under the brands – “Assam Mix”, “Yummy” and “Goalzy”.
Being an economist at heart, he believes that the economic cost of under-nutrition is catastrophic to the Indian economy and hence undertaken to develop low-cost affordable fortified nutrition products for all sections of society, the statement said.
