A free health check-up and medicine distribution camp was organized by Assam Branch Indian Tea Association (ABITA), Dibrugarh Circle under the aegis of Dibrugarh Police on Friday.
The camp was organised for residents of Thangaon & Itakhoolie villages in Lezai Kolakhowa area, which were severely affected in the recent floods.

Medical Officers from ABITA gardens participated along with their paramedical teams.
Dr Munin Pathok and Dr Bandana Tirkey from Dibrugarh Police actively participated in the camp along with their team.
Nearly 350 patients including children and elderly were benefited from the camp.

Medicines for a variety of ailments were distributed to the patients.
The camp also distributed 100 bottles of phenyl and 1000 water purification tablets to the needy families.
ABITA informed that another health camp would be organised in the district soon.
