Sensation prevails in the greater Dimakuchi area of Udalguri district after the killing of a 40-year-old man on Saturday evening.
According to information, the youth was hacked to death by some unidentified miscreants in the Khaumusunga area under Dimakuchi Police Station in Udalguri.
The deceased has been identified as Kalpa Rabha.
According to reports, the deceased was attacked by the unidentified miscreants when he was coming towards his home on a bicycle along with his wife.
Sources informed that a group of three bike-borne youths engaged in a brawl with Kalpa Rabha.
In the meantime, Kalpa’s wife reached out to the neighbours for help only to find him lying dead.
The family members of Kalpa Rabha have lodged an FIR with Dimakuchi Police Station.
However, no one has been arrested in connection with the killing till filling of this report.
The body of the deceased has been for post-mortem.
Police have plunged into action and are investigating into the case.
