An earthquake measuring magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale hit Assam and neighboring areas at 1.12 pm on Saturday, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said.
According to the National Centre for Seismology the epicentre of the earthquake, Latitude-26.07 and Longitude-91.36, is located in Kamrup.

The depth of the earthquake was 10 km.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 38 km west-south-west of Guwahati, the NCS said.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.1, Occurred on 20-11-2021, 13:12:15 IST, Lat: 26.07 & Long: 91.36, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 38km WSW of Guwahati, Assam, India,” the NCS tweeted.

The tremor was felt in neighbouring Bhutan, Manipur, Nagaland and Bangladesh.
On November 12, 2021, an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter Scale (Lat: 25.44 & Long: 96.83) jolted Manipur.
The epicentre of the earthquake was located in east-north-east of Ukhrul in Manipur at a depth of 25 Km.
