A total of 2628 COVID-19 patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam on Friday, tweeted health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
“2628 patients discharged today. So many patients recovering & getting discharged every day keeps our confidence intact. I request people to stay hopeful,” he tweeted.

With this, a total of 108329 patients have been discharged in the state so far and the number of active cases in the state now stands at 29577.
