Two youths were nabbed by railway police and a huge consignment of intoxicant pills was seized from their possession at Guwahati Railway Station on Tuesday.
Railway police found that the youths were carrying 432 pieces of Spasorid Poxivon tablets.
The arrested persons have been identified as 28-year-old Amlan Das and 29-year-old Nepal Das.
They are residents of Ambassa town in Tripura.
The duo was carrying the consignment of the intoxicant pills from Agartala to Delhi by the 20501 Agartala-Anand Vihar Terminal Rajdhani Express train.
They were arrested after raid was carried out on the train at Guwahati Railway Station.
They are currently being interrogated by railway police.
Railway police recently arrested a lady and recovered 150 grams of heroin from her possession at Guwahati Railway Station.
The accused lady was identified as Abitri Karmakar, who hails from Nadia district of West Bengal.
Moreover, a brother-sister duo was also recently arrested by railway police and a consignment of 45 kg of ganja was seized from their possession at Guwahati Railway Station.
The lady and the brother-sister duo were arrested from different Rajdhani Express trains.
