Assam has recorded 169 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
This has been confirmed by Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in his twitter handle.
Of the new cases, Kamrup Metro district has reported 61 cases.
These fresh 169 cases have been detected out of 28451 tests.
Meanwhile, the positivity rate in Assam has been recorded at 0.59%.
With the fresh 169 COVID-19 cases recorded in Assam, the State’s total COVID count has risen to 2,13,505, of which only 1.66? cases are active cases.

On the other hand, a total of 121 patients have been discharged discharged after recovering from the deadly virus taking the total number of patients recovered up to 97.87%.
Meanwhile, 2 more persons inn Assam lost their lives to COVID-19, taking the death toll in the State up to 98.
The deceased persons have been identified as Bibeka Rajkhowa (93) of Dibrugarh and Rumi Cheleng (65) of Sivasagar.
