The total number of recovered COVID-19 patients in Assam rose to 103 on Thursday after 16 patients, who had tested negative twice for coronavirus, were discharged from hospitals.
This was informed in a tweet by Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
“Glad to share that 16 patients have been discharged today in Assam after being tested #COVID19 negative twice. 15 from MMCH, 1 from SMCH,” he tweeted.

Now the number of active cases in Assam is 746 as the total number of positive cases rose to 856 on Thursday.
A total of 73 positive COVID-19 cases have been reported from Assam on Thursday till the filing of this report and the number is expected to rise later on the day.
