Assam is waiting with bated breath for the updated final National Register of Citizens (NRC).

The final updated NRC will be published on Saturday next at 10 am.

However, all the people will not be able to view the final NRC on that day.

Only some special category names will be available in the website on August 31 next.

All the names will be available in the designated website only on September 7 next.

Only those persons would be able to view the results of the final NRC who have submitted claim as they were not included in the complete draft NRC published on July 30 last year.

These include those excluded by additional draft exclusions list published on June 26 this year.

Those names would also appear who had any objection filed against their inclusion.

They can see their status of inclusion in supplementary inclusions list by visiting their designated NRC Seva Kendras or office of circle officers of office of the deputy commissioners.

However, the list will only be a list of supplementary list of inclusions.

Public can also check their status online in the official website by typing their ARN.

Even those persons who were included in the complete draft published on July 30 last year or not not included by the additional draft exclusions list published on June 26 this year but

  • Were called for hearings held from July 5 this onwards can also check for their status.
  •  were not called for any hearings held from July 5 onwards need not worry about their inclusion status.

They continue to be included in the final NRC.

Online facility will be available from August 31 next will give result of any change in status from complete draft NTC for claimants/objectees/any member included in draft but were called for any hearing held on or after July 5 this year.

From September 7 next, the status of all NRC applicants will be available online.
