The VC also apologized to the students for his comment that sex scandal is a minor issue.

“I have just come and I have to look into the matter. This issue is not as grave as it has been projected,” Nath had told Northeast Now on Sunday.

Assam University registrar Sanjib Bhattacharjee earlier had said an internal complaint committee was formed and it would submit its report on Monday.
