The Assam Down Town University will conduct a two-day placement drive in the university campus from May 19. The placement drive is open for all the students of the Northeast.
Recently the University organized a similar event in Kathmandu in Nepal.
Placement drives are usually organized for entry level recruitment but the University has made it open for all. Both fresh and experienced candidates can participate in the event and face interviews with some of the topmost corporate houses from across the country.
This year, around 70 topmost companies will participate to cater to the needs of the students of the entire North Eastern region.
The drive shall also act as a medium of providing a platform to those students who will pass out this year to apply for jobs directly.
The venue for the placement drive shall be the campus of Assam Down Town University at Sankar Madhab Path, Gandhi Nagar, Panikhaiti, Guwahati, Assam, which has a capacity of over 3000 foot falls.
