Sarma added, “As of now our state is a dependent state, we are presently below the national average. When we go beyond the national average then we will be a contributory state. So by 2029-30, Assam should be able to achieve above the national average, whether it is health, education, goods, innovation, culture, or any other sector. ”
“So far we are growing at a good pace and last few years it has been a very positive journey and if we continue like this for another four to five years then Assam will become a contributory state. And that means that we are aligned with the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Sarma summed up.
