Dibrugarh: The All India Sub-Junior (Under-13) Ranking Badminton Tournament 2024 concluded on Wednesday in Dibrugarh town of Assam with exciting finals, showcasing exceptional talents of young shuttlers from across the country.
While Bedagni Gogoi of Assam claimed victory in the girls’ singles, Rajasthan’s Satvik Agrawal triumphed in the boys.’

Gogoi delivered an impressive performance defeating Uttarakhand’s Avni Makhloga with scores of 21-16 and 21-19.
In the boys’ singles final, Agrawal faced Assam’s Anikesh Dutta.

The match turned to be a nail-biter with Agrawal clinching the title by scores of 24-22 and 21-19.
In the boys’ doubles event, Assam’s Harshit Gogoi and Raihan Zaman emerged victorious against Uttarakhand’s Aashray Agarwal and Haryana’s Jayesh Duggal, winning both sets 21-19.
In the girls’ doubles, Karnataka’s Hamsa Muralidhara and Mahitha Surisetty defeated Nagaland’s Kimkim Khongsai and Telengana’s Anya Proddatur with a score of 21-11 and 21-19.
The tournament, held from October 25 to 30, was organised by the Dibrugarh District Sports Association (DDSA) under the aegis of Assam Badminton Association (ABA) and Badminton Association of India (BAI).
It saw the participation of a total of 354 players from across India.
