On being questioned, the group could not provide any valid document of their identity.
The group soon revealed that they entered India from Bangladesh illegally and were planning to board a train for Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
The group of Bangladeshi nationals was later handed over to the officer in-charge of the Government Railway Police (GRP) in Agartala for further legal action.
The RPF has been taking strict measures on a regular basis in order to keep a tight vigil on illegal immigrants and other suspected persons at the railway stations and trains.
