Bodoland Territorial Council executive member Daneswar Goyary on Thursday inaugurated the newly constructed Gangjema vegetable Market in Kokrajhar town of the district in Assam.
The roadside footpath market at Maldangpara will henceforth be shifted to the new place.

Council Head of Department Urban Development Department Nabedita Hazarika, chairman of Kokrajhar Municipal Board Bishnu Narzary and other distinguished personalities were also present during the inauguration of Gangjema Market.
In his speech, the BTC executive member said the newly constructed Gangjema market will give the much needed permanent place to the vendors, most of whom are women, to sell their vegetables.
He urged the Kokajhar Municipal Committee and market committee to keep the market neat and clean and beautify the place.
