Guwahati: A man from Nagaon in Assam was reported missing after a month he left for Hyderabad in Telangana for employment opportunities.
Rajiv Barua, a resident of Puranigudam village in Assam’s Nagaon district, has been reported missing for over a month.

His family has issued a desperate appeal for information regarding his whereabouts.

Barua had moved to Hyderabad for employment opportunities, but his family lost contact with him on June 29.

His wife has filed a missing person report at the local police station, and the family has released a contact number (09957289992) for anyone with information to come forward.

This incident comes on the heels of a similar case last month, where three youths from Assam’s Charaideo district were found dead in Tamil Nadu, and another was reported missing.
It may be mentioned that a huge number of youth failing to get any employment opportunities in Assam, move to southern states in search of jobs.
