A free health check-up camp was organized by Sanjeevani Health Care in association with Global Pain and Palliative clinic at Matikhola Kali Mandir in Hojai district of Assam recently.

The health camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr N L Bhagat, MBBS, MD, PDCC along with assistant Hemchandra Prasad, Santi Singh, Sonjib Das and Akash Bhuyan.

At Matikhola, around 200 patients were offered free health check-ups and free medicines were also distributed.

Talking to Northeast Now, Metrolin Singha, owner of Sanjeevani Health Care said,”The main objective behind organizing this camp was to aware people about various kinds of diseases and how they can prevent them.

“Special emphasis was given on pain management, how it can be cured, what exercise one need to do,” Singha added.

He informed that for the last two months they have conducting similar health camps on every Sunday and till now such camps have been organized at Shikarigate in Hojai, Naubhanga Kali Mandir, Dokmoka Bazaar in Karbi Anglong district, Murajhar LP School and Matikhola Kali Mandir.

“Around 600 patients have been benefited from this free health camp. We have taken this as a mission for the society and in upcoming days it will continue as earlier,” he added.
