Guwahati: As reported a couple of days back Guwahati is slated to host two Indian Premier League (IPL) matches in May, the Board of Cricket Control for India (BCCI) on Monday announced the dates of the remaining IPL matches.
Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati will be host to Rajasthan Royals and the first match will be between Punjab Kings and Royals on May 15 and the second encounter will feature Kolkata Knight Riders locking horns with the Royals on May 19.

Incidentally, the KKR match with the Royals will be the last match in the round-robin league and could turn out to be quite interesting if teams are locked at the same points to qualify for the top four spots.
In 2023 also Guwahati hosted two matches of the IPL fixture and Royals was the host team last year too.
The final for this year’s IPL will take place in the Chepuk Stadium in Chennai on May 26.
