Assam Governor Prof Jagadish Mukhi, will make his maiden visit to Udalguri on March 27 next.
As per reports, Mukhi will be here to attend a Arya Samaj programme.
The Governor will visit Udalguri district on March 27 and on on March 28, he will be visiting adjacent district of Darrang.
He is also likely to visit different schools, colleges and hospitals to take stock of progress on cleanliness drive.
He will also have series of meetings with the civil as well as police administration officials during his visit to the districts.
The Governor is expected to review the law and order scenario in the district and will also inspect some of the government offices to see how far the Swachchata mission is undertaken by the government officials.
The Udalguri Arya Samaj is organizing a three-day long Chaturveda Shataka Parayana Gyanyajna from March 25 to March 27.
