Assam’s star sports person Tania Choudhury won another medal in the Women’s Triples International event in the Asia Pacific Lawn Bowling Championship held at Gold Coast in Australia on Thursday.
Tania won a bronze medal in the championship.

Earlier on June 21 she won a bronze medal in individual event.
Tania Choudhury who hails from Guwahati had won the first bronze in the women’s singles lawn bowls championship held in Gold Coast of Australia.
On that occasion, she defeated Japan’s Keiko Kurohara, world and Commonwealth Games champion Jo Edwards, winner of world singles titles in 1996 and 2016 Norfolk Islander Carmen Anderson, America’s Alexis Van Den Bos and Brunei’s Dayang Muntol to grab the spot.

As many as 19 bowling nations from Asia and Oceania took part in the championship which was held across three host clubs in Gold Coast.
Tania hails from Uzanbazar area of Guwahati and is the daughter of Anup Kr Choudhury and Pankaja Baruah.
