A career counselling programme is going to be held in Tezpur of Assam’s Sonitpur district on May 19 next.
On that day, the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) for admission into the polytechnics of the State is going to be held and along with various other centres throughout the State, the examination will be held at Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT), Tezpur.
A similar programme was held on May 5 last where the guardians of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination candidates attended the session and was said to be highly informative by the participants.
It has been informed by the administration of GIMT, Tezpur that the upcoming career counselling session for the guardians of the candidates of PAT examination will be held on the said date in the college seminar hall.
The session which will start at 10:30 am will be conducted by renowned career counsellor of the State and principal of the college, Dr Buljit Buragohain.
Apart from clearing the doubts while choosing the right career path for their wards, guardians will be able to gather information about the number of seats, departments and government reserved seats of GIMT Tezpur, the first organisation of the state established under PPP mode.
The initiatives taken by the organisation in spreading career related awareness among the students and parents is highly praiseworthy.
