Assam filmmaker Manju Borah was honoured with the โBest Pangchenpa Filmโ award for her movie โIn the Land of Poison Womenโ at the 66th National Film awards ceremony in New Delhi on Monday.
Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu presented the award to Borah at the ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

The film โIn the Land of Poison Womenโ is a depiction of an individualโs effort to break the myth of โpoison womenโ in a remote part of Arunachal Pradesh.

Rima Dasโs โBulbul Can Singโ won the โBest Assamese Filmโ award, Dominic Sangmaโs โMa.Amaโ won the โBest Garo Filmโ award and Bobby Sarma Baruahโs โMishingโ won the โBest Sherdukpen Filmโ award.
