Dimasa social organizations including All Dimasa Students Union, Dijuwa Khunang Hoshom and Halali Progressive Welfare Society have submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner of Assam’s Karbi Anglong district, Mridul Kumar Mahanta for immediate inquiry of the ambush on former DHD C-in-C Pranab Nunisa.

Former insurgent leader Nunisa was ambushed and injured at Nahorbari, six kms from Diphu under Diphu police station on Saturday.

All Dimasa Students Union, Dijuwa Khunang Hoshom in its memorandum said, “We strongly demand immediate inquiry on the incident and book the culprits.”

Halali Progressive Welfare Society, expressing similar demands in their memorandum said that the former DHD cadres are often targeted for attack and are insecure. The implementation of MoS is also delayed.
