Guwahati: IndiGo on Tuesday introduced its new flight between Dibrugarh in Assam and Bengaluru via Agartala, marking a new chapter in the region’s air connectivity.
With the introduction of this new route, people of Upper Assam can now take a flight for Bengaluru from Dibrugarh without having to travel to Guwahati to take a connecting flight for Bengaluru – the centre of India’s high-tech industry.

Its not only the people of Upper Assam who will be benefited.
The residents of Arunachal Pradesh, especially the southern part of the frontier state – Changlang, Namsai, Lohit, Anjaw, Kurung Kumey, Longding, Tirap and Lower Dibang Valley, among others will now be able to take a flight for Bengaluru from Dibrugarh.

Even Mon, Mokokchung and Wokha districts of Nagaland are nearer to Dibrugarh.
