Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said that AAP leader Sanjay Singh on May 14 accepted that an assault had happened with AAP MP Swati Maliwal and on May 17 AAP leader Atishi Marlena Singh denied that any attack took place.
“Sanjay Singh has already said on May 14 that Swati Maliwal was assaulted and appropriate action will be taken against the guilty and on May 17, Atishi Marlena is denying that any such incident has taken place. So I ask you to decide who is telling the truth and who is lying,” said Sarma.

AAP had released two videos (one on May 17 and one on May 18) of Swati Maliwal in Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence to claim that Maliwal is actually lying and nothing untoward happened in the CM’s residence on May 13.
