BTC Doneswr Goyary EM inaugurated Skills development short term computer courses

A three-month computer training course got underway at Aronai College in Assam’s Kokrajhar from Monday.

Doneswar Goyary, BTC EM of Urban Town planning development and sports & youth welfare formally inaugurated the training.

He said in his speech that all students have to take their education as a challenge to build a career and to become successful in life.

Goyary said that students should not waste their valuable study time and concentrate on their goals.

He said that students should not miss the golden opportunity which Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) has been providing.

The three months computer course in their college will be helpful in their future, he said.

Interacting with media, Radhendu Rai Choudhury, principal of Aronai College said that ASDM through this mission will provide free training to the SC and ST students for the development of skill in computer science.

He said there will be three batches of students containing 30 students in each batch every week days for 3 months.

The necessary finance will be borne by the government including salaries of teachers and instructors, he added.

Choudhury asserted that after completing the three-month course they will be given scholarship and certificates.

He also said that they will be offered jobs attached to different government organizations.

Sarodindu Dev Dutta, district project manager of ASDM said that the training has three job roles.

They are field technician network storage, field technician computer peripheral and CCTV.
