There are great chances of the BJP government coming back to power.The people of 8 No Mangaldai Lok Sabha constituency must vote the BJP-AGP-BPF alliance candidate,Dilip Saikia who will represent the region and voice the issues of the people in Parliament.
This was observed by BTC supremo Hagrama Mohillary at Dimakuchi stadium in Udalguri district on Wednesday.

Addressing a mammoth gathering, Mohilary on a lighter note stated that if BJP comes to power the Re one subsidized rice will be available for 50 paise per kg.
Mohillary further stated that there have been development in terms of infrastructure, communication and helicopter services are on cards between Udalguri and Kokrajhar and helipads are being constructed at Udalguri.
Stressing on the ST issue, he said that the six communities of Assam along with Gorkhas will also be considered for inclusion for grant of ST status if BJP is voted back to power.

“The Bodoland People’s Party (BPF) will take initiative for unifying the three factions of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) and sit for peace talks with the government, ” Mohilary said.
The event hosted by BPF was attended by a gathering of more than 5,000 people from all walks of life.
Earlier in her inaugural speech, Paneri legislator, Kamali Basumatari exhorted the people of Mangaldai constituency to vote for the alliance candidate for sake of development,peace and prosperity in the region.
Basumatari during her speech while referring to the BPF party’s symbol plough with BJP’s Lotus said, “Lotus can only bloom when plough is put into action in swamp.”
The meet was also addressed by Rajya Sabha MP, Biswajit Daimari who strongly criticized ABSU and NDFB(P) for extending their support to UPPL.
The rally was also attended by BTC executive member, Bonjar Daimari; BTC deputy speaker, Nerswn Boro among others.
