Assam’s son of the soil Adil Hussain starrer ‘Raahgir’ (The Wayfarers) is set to have its world premiere at Busan International Film Festival.
The movie, directed by Goutam Ghose and produced by Amit Agarwal, will be screened under ‘’A Window on Asian Cinema’’ section on October 7, according to reports.
The movie also features Neeraj Kabi and Tillotama Shome.
According to the filmmaker, the movie is a journey of ordinary people in cinematic time and space revealing the face of humanity.
In Ghose own words it is ‘a travel of love and compassion’.
Ghose was also in all praises for his actors.
He also showered praise on his technicians who according to him ‘worked very hard in the difficult terrain to bring out the mood of the story’.
Ghose also expressed his gratitude to his producer, Amit Agarwal, who according to him is a lover of artistic cinema.
The movie tells a tale of human empathy in the time of crisis and revolves around three characters and the relationship they form with each other through a journey in search of their livelihoods.
