The 77th round of Socio-Economic survey will be conducted by the National Sample Survey Office (Field Operations Division) Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Government of India during the period of January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019.
The survey is aimed at generating different indicators of ownership and operational holdings of rural household including their ownership of livestock and various estimates related to the situation of agricultural household.
The objective of All India Debt and Investment Survey (AIDIS) is to obtain quantitative information on stock of assets, incidents of indebtedness, capital formation and other indicators of household economy.
In addition to the above mentioned subject, NSSO is going to conduct the Time Use survey. The Time Use survey will be introduced for the first time for conducting nationwide survey with an aim to collect data on time dispositions of household members.
Four-day regional training camp has been organized from December 17 to December 20 next by NSSO (FOD), Regional Office, Guwahati for the field officers and staff who will be involved in data collection procedure, survey instruments etc. The training will start from 10 am at Hotel Tokyo Tower, Beltola Bazar Road, Guwahati on December 17 next which will be inaugurated by Harbinder Singh, Additional Director General, NEZ Guwahati.
