A 16-member squad of Arunachal Pradesh women’s cricket with three supporting staffs left for Goalpara in Assam on Wednesday to attend its practise camp for the upcoming Women’s T-20 Trophy in Odisha.

The upcoming T20 tournament is organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Arunachal will play their first match against Delhi on October 14.

The Arunachal Pradesh women’s cricket team comprises: Komal Chauhan, Rishika Kumari, Madhulika Singh, Kavita Kaithal, Teshi Nada, Song Yama, Kabak Yano, Tania Yaje, Savina Yasmine, Fatima Malik, Godhak Yapa, Tarh Ajo, Dayum Popi, Mai Mekh, Renu and Andta Priya Darshini.

On the other hand, Diana David, Vinayata Patel and Yab Niya are the coach, physiotherapist and manager of the team, respectively.

While seeing the team off at Itanagar on Wednesday, Arunachal Cricket Association secretary Tado Kholi urged the players to keep the dignity of the State in high esteem by maintaining proper discipline during their stay in the tournament and also wished them all the luck to perform to the best of their ability.
