The East Kameng district administration continued with its Sarkar Aapke Dwar (government at your doorsteps) programme at Richi Lamgu village under Gyawepurang Circle on Sunday.
Hundreds of people from 12 villages took advantage of the facilities provided by the district administration and various departments of the district on the day.
The daylong programme at Richi Lamgu was inaugurated by Chayangtajo MLA Karya Bagang in presence of Gaon Burahsand a huge gathering of public from the Gyawepurang area.
East Kameng deputy commissioner GS Rajawat, ADCs Rajiv Chiduni and Ashok Tajo, DRDA project director Dahey Sangno,circle officer Taya Yullu and a large number of administrative officers and heads of departments participated in the programme to ensure smooth delivery of the services.
Earlier, the MLA and DC along with other administrative officers inspected all the stalls and interacted with the officials and urged them to make sure that every single household is benefited from the programme.
Urging the people to take advantage of such programme, Bagang informed that the main motive behind conducting the programme is to provide services to the public at their doorsteps.
During the programme, various services were provided, which included, among others, issuance of PRCs, ST and birth certificates, trading licenses, disability and old-age certificates, verification of job cards, registration of farmers, OPD registration, enrolment under CMAAY and free treatment at health camp etc.
Earlier in the day, PMGSY road from Jeju Dada to Tagang Warang was formally inaugurated by MLA Bagang.
