Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are in Arunachal Pradesh.
Both the actors are in Arunachal Pradesh for the shooting of their upcoming movie ‘Bhediya’.

Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, director Amar Kaushik and other crew members of the movie met Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu at the latter’s office in Itanagar on Wednesday.
“Pleased to meet Bollywood Star Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon and their team during their call on. They are in Arunachal to shoot for the movie ‘Bhediya’. Happy to know they are enjoying their time here and are keen on promoting Arunachal as popular film destination,” Pema Khandu said.

“It was lovely meeting Amar Kaushik, a popular Bollywood Director during his call on with producer team of movie ‘Bhediya’. Kaushik grew up in Arunachal. His father was a forest ranger who worked for the Indian Forest Service and his mother a school teacher,” Pema Khandu added.

‘Bhediya’ is scheduled to be shot at picturesque Ziro (Lower Subansiri), Sagalee (Papum Pare) and parts of Pakke Kessang district over a span of two months.
‘Bhediya’ will “promote artists from Arunachal Pradesh, as well as the state’s culture and tourism”.
About 70 percent of the artists in ‘Bhediya’ are from Arunachal Pradesh.
Rapper from Arunachal Pradesh – Kheko will also be a part of the film.
“It’s my first time in the Northeast,” said Kriti Sanon.
“I am an Arunachalee. My father was a forest ranger here and I have grown up in places like Roing, Shantipur, Seijosa, Itanagar and Bhalukpong,” said director Amar Kaushik.
