Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu on Sunday inaugurated the newly instituted weekly market in Tawang.
The chief minister said that the market will provide a platform for local farmers, artisans as well as traders to showcase and sell their products.

He said that the market will fulfill the aim of being “vocal for local” under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat initiative of the Union government.
Fruits and vegetables cultivated in the region together with goods like utensils, traditional attires, hand-made products, carpets and many more will be sold in the market.
