Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu on Sunday inaugurated the newly instituted weekly market in Tawang.

The chief minister said that the market will provide a platform for local farmers, artisans as well as traders to showcase and sell their products.

He said that the market will fulfill the aim of being โ€œvocal for localโ€ under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat initiative of the Union government.

Fruits and vegetables cultivated in the region together with goods like utensils, traditional attires, hand-made products, carpets and many more will be sold in the market.
