Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) BD Mishra on Tuesday interacted with the students from three premier higher education centres–Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Doimukh, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Nirjuli and National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh at Raj Bhavan in Itanagar.
While speaking to the students, the Governor said students, particularly in the colleges and universities are the most important assets of the society, state and the nation.

They are the individuals who can take the nation to new heights of development and prosperity. Our educated youth can be the catalyst who can mould the society to march fast on the path of progress.
Explaining the fundamental duties as enshrined in our constitution, the Governor said that it is the duty of every parent to provide education to a child.
He called upon the students present in the interactive session to participate in promoting education amongst the tiny tots at primary level.

The students from the RGU, NERIST and NIT assured the Governor that they would to do their bit for the improvement of primary education of the children in the State.
