Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat called on Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu at Itanagar on Tuesday.

Informing about the meeting, Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Khandu on his Twitter handle on Tuesday said: “An honour to meet Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (@RSSorg) @DrMohanBhagwat
Ji this evening at Itanagar.”

While expressing his happiness, the chief minister said: “Felt enriched and invigorated by his blessings and kind margdarshan.”

According to media reports, Bhagwat will visit Assam on Wednesday.

The RSS chief will attend a meeting at Maligaon in Guwahati on Wednesday.

It has been reported that during the meeting, the Covid protocols will be followed.

Recently, RSS chief Bhagwat was in news headlines as three weeks after Australian ambassador met him.

The meeting was criticised in Australian parliament with an opposition member of parliament calling for his resignation.

The Australian envoy to India, Barry O’ Farrell had tweeted on November 15 that he had a meeting with RSS chief Bhagwat in Nagpur and had praised the organisation for relief work during the pandemic.
