An orphaned Himalayan black bear cub was rescued and formally handed over to the Range Officer of Lazu Forest Range in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh recently.
A local resident rescued the one-year-old cub of the Himalayan black bear from Chinhan near Indo-Myanmar border recently, official sources informed on Thursday.
